Internet Abuse Report Help

Below, you will find instructions for each labeled field on the report form.

• Your e-mail Address: Enter an e-mail address we can contact you at. You will receive receipt confirmation at this address.
• This Report Concerns: Please choose the closest matching category. Only choose "other" if you cannot find a matching category for any aspect of your report. For example, if you receive a spam message with a virus attached, choose "virus", not "other".
• Source IP: Enter the IP address that originated the activity you are reporting. For example, if you are reporting a port scan, enter the IP address that performed the scan.
• Destination IP: Enter the IP address that received the activity you are reporting. For example, if you are reporting a port scan, enter the IP address that was scanned.
• If you are reporting an e-mail, please enter the message with full headers: Only fill in this field if your report concerns an e-mail you received (e.g. spam). In this case, enter the complete message including all headers. The headers should include lines that start with "Received". Please consult your e-mail application's help if you have difficulty finding this information.
• Supporting Logs: Please enter any logs providing evidence of the activity you are reporting. For example, if you are reporting a port scan, please provide the firewall logs showing the port scan.
• Your Comments / Additional Information: Enter any additional information here. The more detailed the report is, the better.
